Computer Applications Specialist Certificate Program

What you need to do?
  1. Fill out the Apply Texas Application. (contact Mrs. Salinas via email([email protected]) for assistance with Apply Texas application or stop by RM272.
  2. Notify your counselor via email that you completed the Apply Texas Application and want to sign up for 9123 BIM II CA-DE and 9153D Business Management Dual Credit courses with Mrs. Salinas for Fall 2024. 
  3. Check your email daily, you will receive an email from STC with your Jagnet Username and password.
  4. Access your Jagnet account and register for ITSC1409  and ITSE2409 for Fall 2024. 
  5. Stop by Room 272 if you need help.
About the Program
 
"The Computer Application Specialist Certificate program prepares students to meet the demand for advanced skills and knowledge in some of today's leading business applications. Students completing this certificate are equipped with comprehensive abilities in business productivity software such as word processing, spreadsheets and database managements systems. They also finish the program with extensive experience in the use of multimedia software for tasks such as digital publishing and photo editing. All credits earned in the program transfer to the Computer and Information Technologies Certificate and the Associate of Applied Science degree for Information Systems.
